We express our grave concern regarding the impasse in the implementation of the Trade Facilitation Agreement ( TFA ) which has resulted in stalemate and uncertainties over other Bali decisions .

When the newly elected government in India this year decided to block the implementation of the TFA – an agreement its predecessor approved – it caused a lot of that trust built up in Bali to evaporate .

19 . We welcome the commitment of APEC economies to move forward with the implementation of the WTO Trade Facilitation Agreement , including the notification by many APEC developing economies of their category A TFA obligations .
