So Jehu the son of Jehoshaphat the son of Nimshi conspired against Joram .

约兰吩咐说：「套车！」

And Joram said , Make ready .

And after all this the Lord smote him in his bowels with an incurable disease .

先是约兰和以色列众人因为亚兰王哈薛的缘故，把守基列的拉末。

Now Joram had kept Ramothgilead , he and all Israel , because of Hazael king of Syria .

亚哈谢登基作犹大王的时候，是在亚哈的儿子约兰第十一年。

And in the eleventh year of Joram the son of Ahab began Ahaziah to reign over judah .

那时，立拿人也背叛了，因为约兰离弃耶和华他列祖的神。

Libnah revolted at the same time , because Jehoram had forsaken the Lord , the God of his fathers .

以后，耶和华激动非利士人和靠近古实的亚拉伯人来攻击约兰。

The Lord aroused against Jehoram the hostility of the Philistines and of the Arabs who lived near the Cushites .

' 'Get a horseman , 'Joram ordered . 'Send him to meet them and ask , 'Do you come in peace ?

And he said , Which way shall we go up ? And he answered , The way through the wilderness of Edom .

犹大王约兰的儿子亚哈谢、因为亚哈的儿子约兰病了、就下到耶斯列望看他。

Then Ahaziah the son of Jehoram king of Judah went down to see Joram the son of Ahab in Jezreel because he was sick .

And Jehoram reigned in his stead in the second year of Jehoram the son of Jehoshaphat king of Judah ; because he had no son .

In the twelfth year of Joram the son of Ahab king of Israel did Ahaziah the son of Jehoram king of Judah begin to reign .

约兰兴起坐他父的位，奋勇自强，就用刀杀了他的众兄弟和以色列的几个首领。

When Jehoram established himself firmly over his father 's kingdom , he put all his brothers to the sword along with some of the princes of Israel .

When Ahaziah arrived , he went out with Joram to meet Jehu son of Nimshi , whom the Lord had anointed to destroy the house of Ahab .

And Joram king of Israel and Ahaziah king of Judah went out , each in his chariot , and they went out against Jehu , and met him in the portion of Naboth the Jezreelite .

Their father gave them great gifts of silver , gold , and valuable possessions , together with fortified cities in Judah , but he gave the kingdom to Jehoram , because he was the firstborn .

Then Jehoram went forth with his princes , and all his chariots with him : and he rose up by night , and smote the Edomites which compassed him in , and the captains of the chariots .

And the destruction of Ahaziah was of God by coming to Joram : for when he was come , he went out with Jehoram against Jehu the son of Nimshi , whom the LORD had anointed to cut off the house of Ahab .

约兰率领所有的战车往撒益去，夜间起来，攻打围困他的以东人和车兵长。犹大兵就逃跑，各回各家去了。

Then Joram went over to zair , with all his war-carriages ; * Made an attack by night on the edomites , whose forces were all round him , * The captains of the war-carriages ; and the people went in flight to their tents .
