通常情况下,MMPs受多层次的调控并以酶原的形式存在,激活过程受丝氨酸蛋白酶或纤维蛋白酶的介导,也可以自主催化激活,此外还受其特异性组织抑制剂(TIMPs)的调节。
Normally MMPs exist as zymogen in the inactive form and their modulations are controlled at multi-levels . Their activations are mediated by serine protease or fibrinase . In addition , they can also be activated by autocatalysis and modulated by their specific tissue inhibitor of MMPs ( TIMPs ) .
