三亚港原始岸线为基岩港湾海岸，由中生代花岗岩构成。

The primary coastline of the port was bedrock embayment and composed of Mesozoic granite .

海南岛沿岸多港湾，主要有3种类型的潮汐汊道型港湾：1沙坝&泻湖型潮汐汊道港湾主要分布在东南部海岸，以三亚港最为典型。

Hainan Island coast has many tidal branch estuaries , mainly grouped under 3 types , namely sand bar lagoon type , estuarine type and drowned valley type . The first type is mostly distributed in the southeastern coast , and Sanya Port is its representative .

Comparision study between mathematical and physical model tests on waves in Nanshan Harbor in Sanya

通过物理模型和数学模型两种研究手段，对三亚南山港工程平面方案码头前沿、护岸波高分布以及航道对波浪折射影响进行对比研究，对码头前沿波峰面高程和上水情况进行了分析。

From both physical and mathematic model tests , the wave height distribution near apron and revetment is studied and the wave crest level near the apron is analyzed .
