Mycobacterium tuberculosis DNA was detected by polymerase chain reaction ( PCR ) from 53 samples of paraffin embedded tissues which were clinically or pathologically diagnosed as cutaneous tuberculosis ( CT ) or nodular dermatoses ( NDs ) .
