Since Toms found the turbulence drag reduction induced by the polymer , a lot of researches have been done on this topic , but the drag reduction mechanism is still remained under debate .

在水中添加表面活性剂减阻剂不仅能够大大降低水的表面张力，同时在水中形成网状结构，抑制湍流，具有减阻效应。
Adding a minute amount of surfactant additive into water , the surface tension of water can be decreased . And meantime , the surfactant will transform into net microstructure that can inhibit turbulence , and result in drag reduction as well .
