The story focuses on a strong bond between a dog and his owner that the canine continues to await his master at the same downtown spot , where he used to get off work , every day for an entire decade after the man dies .

真正的八公在1923年出生于日本秋田县大馆市。

The real Hachiko was born in Odate Japan in1923 .

之后的每天，八公早上将教授送到车站，傍晚五点准时到车站等待教授一起回家。

Since then , everyday Hachi accompanies the professor to the station , and waited for the professor at the station at17o'clock on time .

八公在1934年3月去世。现在，八公的铜像依然守在涉谷火车站，它等人的地方。

Hachiko died in March , 1934 . Today , a bronze statue of Hachiko sits in his waiting spot outside the Shibuya railroad station .
