    Having measured 117 specimens collected in the museum of Institute of Zoology , we found that the wings and tail lengths of the adult males were significantly larger than those of sub-adult males ( t-test , P < 0.001 ) .

    METHODS : This experiment was completed in State Key Laboratory of Biomembrane and Membrane Biotechnology of Institute of Zoology , Chinese Academy of Sciences from March 1998 to July 2000 . A total of 32 male Kunming mice were divided into four groups , each containing 8 mice .
